Nutrition – Start With Protein (6/52)

Fitness is at the center of what we do.

To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional.

It’s something that every person needs.

Over the past year, we shared 52 reasons WHY people need fitness.

Now we shift to the next question.

HOW do you start?

HOW do you stay consistent?

HOW do you build a lifestyle that lasts?

HOW do you get results?

Here is week 6 of 52 on HOW to approach fitness.

“Start with Protein”

Nutrition can feel overwhelming.

Calories.

Macros.

Meal timing.

Supplements.

There is so much information online that many people don’t know where to begin.

If there’s one habit that gives you the biggest return early on, it’s this:

Eat more protein.

When I first started learning about nutrition coaching, one thing stood out.

Some of the best coaches in the industry didn’t have new clients track every calorie.

They started with one thing.

Protein.

Why?

Because protein supports almost every fitness goal.

Trying to lose weight? Protein helps keep you full, making it easier to eat fewer calories while preserving muscle.

Trying to build strength or muscle? Protein provides the building blocks your body needs to recover and grow.

Trying to have more energy and recover faster? Protein helps repair the body after every workout.

It is one of the simplest habits you can build, and one of the most effective.

Great sources of protein include:

• Chicken

• Eggs

• Lean beef and steak

• Fish

• Turkey

• Greek yogurt

• Cottage cheese

• Protein powder

Instead of trying to completely change your diet overnight, start here.

Aim to include a quality source of protein at two or three meals each day.

Build that habit first.

Then build on it over time.

Nutrition doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just needs to improve.

Small habits repeated every day create incredible results.

The Bottom Line

Don’t worry about eating perfectly.

Don’t worry about following the latest fad diet.

Start with protein.

Master one habit before adding another.

Because the people who see lasting results are usually the ones who keep nutrition simple.

 This Week’s Challenge:

For the next seven days, include a quality source of protein with at least two meals every day.

Don’t change anything else.

Just build one habit.

Then let consistency do the work.
