“The Challenge”

Fitness is at the center of what we do.
To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional. 
It’s something that every person needs. 
And this isn’t a plug for Tilla Fit, because we aren’t for everyone. 
Regardless if you workout with us, or at any other gym in the area, we want you working out. 
This is our effort to show the community why fitness is a priority. 
Here is reason number 1 of 52 for why we need fitness, and what it means to us! 

Fitness teaches us resilience by putting us through tough workouts that test our limits. When you push through those last reps, keep running when you don’t want to, or finish a workout you didn’t think you could, your mind strengthens. That struggle in the gym makes everything else in your day feel easier. Deadlines, stressful meetings, and unexpected challenges become easier because you’ve already proven to yourself that you can handle discomfort.

 

One of my favorite quotes to summarize this point is from a man named Ben Bergeron.

 

“Your mind quits 1,000 times before your body does. Training teaches you to ignore that voice – and that skill transfers to everything else in life.”
