The Beginner’s Effect

Fitness is at the center of what we do.

To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional.

It’s something that every person needs.

And this isn’t a plug for Tilla Fit, because we aren’t for everyone.

Regardless if you workout with us, or at any other gym in the area, we want you working out.

This is our effort to show the community why fitness is a priority.

Here is reason number 16 of 52 for why we need fitness, and what it means to us!

“The Beginner’s Effect”

There’s something powerful about being new at something.

Today I’m calling it “The Beginner’s Effect”.

When you’re new, progress comes fast. You feel it every week: stronger, fitter, and more confident. But here’s the real secret, this “Beginner’s Effect” shouldn’t actually have an end.

In our style of training, there’s always something new to learn: a movement to refine, a mental strategy to develop, or even meal prepping strategies. The most experienced coaches and athletes still have new things to learn.

And that’s not a bad thing.

It’s one of the best things about fitness.

The beauty of always having something new to work on is what keeps you engaged. When you stay curious, you stay consistent. And when you’re consistent, you keep improving.

So what does that have to do with fitness?

Everything.

Learning new movement patterns, skills, or routines fires up your brain, boosts confidence, and breaks the monotony. And that constant progress, that feeling of being a student again, is what keeps you coming back.

At Tilla Fit, we love being beginners.

Because it means we’re still growing.

Still learning.

Still in the game
