Stronger Bones

Fitness is at the center of what we do.

To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional.

It’s something that every person needs.

And this isn’t a plug for Tilla Fit, because we aren’t for everyone.

Regardless if you work out with us, or at any other gym in the area, we want you working out.

This is our effort to show the community why fitness is a priority.

Here is reason number 11 of 52 for why we need fitness, and what it means to us!

“Stronger Bones”

It’s easy to think of fitness as just muscles and calorie burn. But hopefully up to this point in the series, you realize it’s so much more than that.

One of the most overlooked benefits of fitness, in particular, strength training is what it can do to our bones.

Every time you squat, push, pull, hinge, and lunge with weight your body responds by reinforcing your skeletal system.

Weight-bearing exercises send signals to your bones to grow denser and stronger.

Stronger bones mean:
– Lower risk of fractures and falls
– Better posture and stability
– Protection for your internal organs
– A stronger foundation for movement
– Independence as you age

Bone density naturally declines as we get older. By the time you’re in your 30s, your bones begin to lose mass unless you do something about the it.

And the best time to start building stronger bones is right now.

Practice technique.
Lift weights.
Lift them until you’re tired.
Simple as that.

This is about building protection from the inside out.
