To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional.
It’s something that every person needs.
And this isn’t a plug for Tilla Fit, because we aren’t for everyone.
Regardless if you workout with us, or at any other gym in the area, we want you working out.
This is our effort to show the community why fitness is a priority.
Here is reason number 2 of 52 for why we need fitness, and what it means to us!
“Body Awareness”
Part of fitness is understanding how your body moves through space. This concept, known as proprioception, is your body’s ability to sense its position, motion, and equilibrium. Regular training in movements like squatting, hinging, pressing, and pulling improves coordination which reduces the risk of falls, body misalignments, and chronic pain. Whether it’s lifting groceries, navigating uneven terrain, or simply being able to move your body the way you want to on command can be improved through fitness and is one of the most underrated investments in long-term health and safety.
