To Tilla Fit, fitness isn’t optional.

 

It’s something that every person needs.

 

And this isn’t a plug for Tilla Fit, because we aren’t for everyone.

 

Regardless if you workout with us, or at any other gym in the area, we want you working out.

 

This is our effort to show the community why fitness is a priority.

 

Here is reason number 34 of 52 for why we need fitness, and what it means to us.

 

“Improved Flexibility — Real Life”

 

Fast forward to your 60s or 70s.

 

You get out of the car without stiffness.

You bend down and stand back up without thinking twice.

You reach overhead without your shoulders locking up.

 

That’s flexibility in real life.

 

It’s not about stretching your hamstrings or touching your toes.

 

It’s about keeping your body capable of normal movement for decades.

 

Full range of motion strength training does more than build muscle.

It keeps joints healthy, muscles elastic, and movement patterns strong.

 

And don’t neglect your stretching.


Active and full range of motion movement before workouts prepares the body and reduces injury risk.


Post workout stretching helps maintain flexibility and restore muscle length over time.

 

Studies have found that adults with higher flexibility scores have significantly lower mortality rates over time compared to those who are more stiff and restricted. While flexibility itself may not be the direct cause, it is a powerful marker of overall physical health. In simple terms, bodies that move well tend to keep moving, and bodies that keep moving tend to last longer.

 

The result is simple.

Less stiffness.
