Unless you’re a regular at 6:15am, you may not know Doug. Just four months ago, he walked through our doors curious to learn more about what we do. After showing him around, sharing our values, and building a game plan around his goals, Doug committed to a mix of private training and group classes.


Since then, he’s been rock solid, consistently showing up for 2 group classes and 1 private session every week without missing a beat.


At 69 years young, Doug is now performing Kettlebell Romanian Deadlifts with 70 lbs for reps. Bench Pressing 80 lbs for reps, and knocking out Dumbbell Bent Over Rows with 45 lbs for reps.


But his most impressive accomplishment? His squat.

With multiple lower body injuries, squatting was often too painful to attempt. Yet, the squat is one of the most fundamental human movements. It tests not only strength, but also mobility as we age. So together, we went to work. Each week, Doug progressed little by little. Pairing squats with ankle, hip, and quad mobility. Just a couple of weeks ago, he hit a huge milestone: squatting below parallel, with weight, and nearly pain-free.


Doug is proof that it’s never too late to start. All it takes is the decision to walk through the door. No matter your age, past injuries, or fitness background, fitness can change your life
