
The last four Thursdays we have sat down and talked about nutrition. Today is our final episode in our five part series about using nutrition to change your body composition.
Up to this point, if you have started to implement the nutritional habits we prescribed, there is a good chance you could be seeing changes in your body composition already.
If you’re not seeing those changes yet, there could be a couple reason why. The first is simple, you may not be adhering to the plan and being as tedious and calculated as you could be. Nutrition is all about the numbers, and you have to follow the plan. Trust the process and continue to chip away it for a couple more weeks.
The second reason why could have something related to lifestyle factors. These lifestyle factors could include, sleep and stress.
Sleeping 7 to 9 hours every night is critical in maintaining proper body functions and allowing the body to perform at its highest level.
High stress levels will keep your body in a sympathetic state and prioritize body functions more important for your survival than anything else. If you’re not giving your body the time to unwind and Deload, it may not perform at an optimal level.
The final reason why could have something to do with hormone imbalances. Speak to your doctor if you think this could be at play.
Studies show that only 10 to 15 percent of the time do people have lifestyle or hormonal imbalances at play that cause body composition change problems.
With that said, revisit the first four part of our series to create your plan and start taking action!
